At Carveth Care Centre, we are currently looking for a part-time Dietary Aide to join our wonderful team of carers.   • You must be a mature individual, with good physical and mental health.
  • You must also be able to relate to the needs of the older people.
  • Furthermore, be capable of working alone and as part of a team in a brisk working environment.
  • Possess the ability to organize workload and complete tasks in a specified time while maintaining quality and quantity of work.
  • Have a working knowledge of WHMIS.
  • You must have a long-term care dietary experience preferably, or other related food service experience such as waitress or food server.
  • Also, you will need to possess a Food Workers Certificate (or be enrolled in a program at the time of hiring).
  • You must be willing to attend in-service training.
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • You will need to provide three written references.

The successful candidate will need to make available a satisfactory Canadian Police Information Check (CPIC) at their own expense. Furthermore, you will be on the job for 25 hours per week. (5 1/2 hours a workday.) With a starting salary of $21.31 an hour.
